Trade Your Pro DSLR camera for a Wedding Photo shoot on Kenya’s Coast

Why This Barter Exists: A Love Letter to Legacy Gear

We’ve spent 15 years capturing love stories across Kenya’s coast—from Lamu’s whispering alleyways to Diani’s golden shores. And through it all, one truth remains: the right tool shapes the story.

While the world races toward mirrorless, we still reach for the discontinued DSLRs that taught us how to see. Their optical viewfinders. Their battery life that outlasts a monsoon wedding. Their color science that renders skin like candlelight.

But these machines are fading from shelves—and from hands. So we’re offering something rare: a true barter. No money. No invoices. Just your well-loved pro DSLR in exchange for a wedding photo experience that honors both your love and your legacy gear.

This isn’t a gimmick. It’s a ritual between two professionals who understand that value isn’t always measured in shillings—but in trust, condition, and shared vision.

How the Exchange Works: Fair, Flexible, and Fully Contracted

We match your camera’s verified market value to one of our three curated wedding photography experiences. All sessions include professional editing, digital delivery, and a private online gallery.

Intimate Session – $1000 Value

Ideal for elopements, vow renewals, or sunset ceremonies.

Half-Day Coverage – $2,000 Value

Covers getting-ready, ceremony, portraits, and golden hour.

Full-Day Experience – $4,000 Value

From first light to last dance—complete storytelling with 400 edited images + cinematic slideshow.

Note: Final session tier is determined by verified market value + physical condition at time of inspection.

The Cameras We’re Seeking (And Why They Still Matter)

We’re not collecting junk. We’re seeking professional-grade, discontinued DSLRs that were treated with care—because we’ll be shooting your wedding on your camera.

Accepted Models:

  • Canon 1Ds Mark II, III, IV
  • Canon 1D X Mark II, III, IV
  • Canon 5D Mark III, IV
  • Nikon D750 & D850

Condition Requirements:

  • Shutter count under 50,000 (must be verifiable)
  • Fully operational—no error codes, sensor dust, or mechanical issues
  • Cosmetically honest—minor wear accepted; major damage not
  • Original box, charger, or strap? A thoughtful bonus that may increase valuation

These cameras aren’t “old.” They’re seasoned. And in the right hands—yours, then ours—they still create magic.

This Is More Than a Transaction—It’s a Legacy Exchange

We’ve photographed billionaires under NDA, shot for international fashion weeks, and been named Kenya’s best Photography studio for over a decade. But our heart still beats for the tactile joy of a well-worn DSLR and the raw emotion of a couple saying “I do” with the Indian Ocean behind them.

If you own one of these cameras—and you’re planning a wedding that feels wild, warm, and deeply in-love—let’s turn your unused gear into your most treasured heirloom.

Let your Canon or Nikon tell your love story one last time… through our eyes.
