- In exchange for permission to use your photos in marketing, social media, and portfolio development, you receive a professionally led session with Jafassam — a photographer renowned for her emotive style, editorial lighting, and timeless aesthetic.
What Are Model Calls?
- A model call is a curated photo session offered either free of charge or at a substantial discount. These opportunities arise when Jafassam is expanding their portfolio, launching new services, or gathering content for seasonal collections.
- Free sessions are typically offered when introducing a new service or concept.
- Discounted sessions may be available for established offerings where additional visual content is needed.
- All participants grant usage rights through a signed model release agreement, allowing Jafassam Photography to feature select images for promotional and artistic purposes.
This collaboration benefits both parties: you receive high-quality photography with minimal investment, while Jafassam enhances their portfolio with real, heartfelt moments.
Who Can Participate?
- Selection is based on specific creative needs and alignment with the theme of each call. Whether we’re seeking a radiant beauty subject, a lively family of four, or a peaceful couple session, every model call has unique criteria.
To qualify, applicants must:- Meet the current recruitment requirements (listed below)
- Sign a model release form granting image usage rights

- Be open to Jafassam’s artistic direction, including wardrobe, setting, and mood
- Commit to the scheduled session and follow through with communication and preparation
- Please note: While your personality and natural connection are essential, final creative control—including composition, styling, and editing—resides with Jafassam as the artist.

Model Call Clients for the above sessions receive the following benefits:- Free 15-30 minute photo session

Mombasa Beach Family Session
Model calls for families, portraits, and maternity may be offered periodically. If interested in applying for my waitlist, please fill out the application below. General model calls come with the following perks:- 30 minute photo sessions with your pick of 3 edited images - $75
- Video clips of your session, if any are taken during your session - No additional charge
Model Call Clients for ALL MODEL CALLS are required:

including across social media and on my website
3. Provide creative license during the photoshoot to the

Guidelines for All Model Call Participants
- To ensure a smooth and successful experience, all selected participants agree to the following:
- Full cooperation with the photographer’s creative vision and session flow
- Timely responses and adherence to scheduling details

- Signed model release permitting non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual use of images for marketing and portfolio purposes
- Understanding that image selection, retouching, and final presentation are at the photographer’s discretion
